Terms & Conditions – SimuLegum EdTech

By enrolling in Simulegum EdTech courses, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Ultimate Discretion:

  • Simulegum and its collaborators (law firms) reserve the ultimate discretion on all aspects of the course, including but not limited to content, assessments, and internship selection.

2. Tiebreakers in Assessments:

  • In the event of a tie among top performers in course assessments, Simulegum may conduct additional tiebreaker assessments.
  • If the number of available internship slots is less than the tied top performers, Simulegum reserves the right to conduct further tiebreakers to determine internship placement.

3. Changes to Terms and Conditions:

  • These terms and conditions are subject to change and may be updated periodically.
  • It is your responsibility to review and accept the latest terms and conditions before enrolling in any course.

4. Internship Selection:

  • The law firm’s selection of interns from a course is entirely at the discretion of the law firm.
  • Simulegum will recommend top performers of a particular course to the respective law firm, but the final selection is made solely by the law firm.

5. Timings of Sessions:

  • The timings of course sessions are subject to change based on the availability of resource persons from the law firm.
  • Simulegum and the law firm make every effort to minimize sudden changes or delays in course completion.

Course Postponement:

  • Simulegum EdTech shall not be held responsible for any course postponement due to the unavailability of resource persons from a law firm. Any such postponement will be communicated in advance.

Course Materials:

  • Every course will be accompanied by a live session and PowerPoint presentations (PPT) to facilitate learning. Any exceptions to this practice will be communicated in advance.

Registration and Account Information:

  • Users are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information during the registration process.
  • Users must maintain the confidentiality of their login credentials and are responsible for any activity that occurs under their account.

Intellectual Property Rights:

  • All course content, materials, and intellectual property are the exclusive property of Simulegum EdTech or its respective Collaborators.
  • Users are granted a limited, non-transferable license to access and use the course materials for educational, personal, and non-commercial purposes only.

Code of Conduct:

  • Users must adhere to a code of conduct that promotes respectful communication and engagement within the online learning environment.
  • Consequences for violations of the code of conduct may include warnings, suspensions, or account terminations.

Privacy and Data Protection:

  • Measures are in place to protect user privacy and data security.

Disclaimer of Liability:

  • Simulegum EdTech and its collaborators are not liable for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or disruptions that users may experience while using the platform.

Refund Policy for SimuLegum EdTech

At SimuLegum, we are committed to providing high-quality educational content and services to our valued learners.

1. Refund Eligibility

1.1. Refunds are not available for any courses or services offered by SimuLegum EdTech, except under specific circumstances as outlined in sections 2 and 3 of this policy.

1.2. In any situation where a refund is granted under Section 3, the refund amount will not exceed 50% of the enrollment fee for the course after the deduction of payment gateway charges and other applicable taxes and fees.

2. Exceptions to the No-Refund Policy

2.1. Course Cancellation: In the event that SimuLegum cancels a course for any reason, registered students will be eligible for a full refund of the course fee.

2.2. Technical Issues: If you experience technical difficulties that prevent you from accessing course materials despite reasonable efforts by the SimuLegum team to resolve the issue with our technical support team, you may be eligible for a refund.

2.3. Duplicate Payments: If you have accidentally made a duplicate payment for the same course, SimuLegum will process a refund for the excess amount.

3. Discretionary Refunds

3.1. SimuLegum may, at its sole discretion, consider refund requests in exceptional circumstances.

3.2. All discretionary refund requests must be submitted in writing to our customer support team, along with supporting documentation.

4. How to Request a Refund

4.2. Refund requests must include your full name, email address, course details, reason for the request, and any supporting documentation required under sections 2 and 3.

5. Refund Processing Time

5.1. Refund requests will be processed within 7 business days of acceptance of a complete request, including acceptance and authentication of all required information and documentation.

6. Refund Method

6.1. Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase.
